The Conflict Database at Uppsala University contains information on a large number of aspects of armed violence since 1975.
The UCDP Conflict Database is one of the most accurate and well-used data sources on global armed conflicts and its definition of armed conflict is becoming a standard in systematic peace and conflict research.

I use the online Uppsala Conflict Databse all the time for work. The mobile app is a great start and tool, but it would be even better if it sorted conflicts by year.
I was so excited to see theres an app version of this incredible database. Its a phenomenal resource and so handy to be able to have it on my iPhone.
